Hello, my name is Dave Harper, I am the proprietor of D&S Southern Comfort BBQ. I would like to tell you a little bit about what we do, and how we do it. We are a young company with a lot of experience. My Chef Jay has 5 years experience, my Floor Manager, Cheryll has 21 years experience, and I myself have about 10 years.
Our love for barbeque knows no bounds, with that in mind, at every cook we strive for perfection and are dedicated to delicious BBQ. Our specialty is Texas-style BBQ, and we dabble in Carolina-style BBQ. It's all delicious.
Our restaurant can seat 250 people inside, and another 50 on our outdoor patio deck. We can entertain you with your very own customized buffet menu, or you can select your own meal off our menu. You will find several buffet menu choices on the in house buffet menu page.
Our equipment is based around Southern Pride Ovens/Smokers, easily the best BBQ equipment on the market, pricey but perfect.
Our food is cooked fresh. Using the utmost care, we find this makes the best BBQ, tender and juicy ribs (pork and beef), roasts of all kinds, whole turkeys, chickens, briskets (which requires 10-18 hours of cooking).
Some of our sides are made ahead of time, but those things tastes better when the flavours are allowed to marry. It's not for convenience that we make them ahead of time, everything is better tasting when the flavours have had a chance to mingle together.
